French Comfort Food in East Asheville

Bienvenue à RendezVous

Welcome to East Asheville’s RendezVous, sister restaurant to Bouchon in Downtown Asheville. RendezVous is away from the busyness of downtown, in a quiet neighborhood, where the locals can come and relax without worrying about parking or hurrying to beat the crowd. There are Pétanque courts to play on, expansive outdoor dining in our “barn”, and the same great French comfort food you know and love from Bouchon. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Trombone Christmas Celebration!

Join us for a musical Christmas celebration with the grandeur of nine trombones! The music will start at 6:00 pm in the heated outdoor patio. Please be sure to book an outside patio table to join in the celebration.

Keeping it Local (et Français)

Much like a traditional French bistro, our menus reflect our area’s amazing bounty. Our restaurants source from several of Western North Carolina’s amazing producers including the WNC Farmer’s Market, Jasperwood Farms, Haw Creek Honey, City Bakery, Dynamite Roastng Co., Asheville Tea Co., Ultimate Ice Cream, and Sunburst Trout Farms.

*We have no affiliation with local food delivery companies.

Le Propriétaire

RendezVous & Bouchon owner, Michel Baudouin, grew up on a 200-year-old farm near France’s Rhône Valley. His affinity for fine food and wine comes naturally. His father, Emile, was the village’s premier amateur winemaker. Mother Antonia’s way with a roast duck had neighbors and friends “coincidentally” dropping by at dinner time every Sunday.

After many years in downtown Asheville and after befriending many of the locals, Michel wanted to give a little something back. So, when the opportunity for a little farm house-style restaurant came about, he bought a church in Haw Creek. This would become Bouchon’s sister restaurant, RendezVous.

Enjoy authentic French cuisine without leaving the neighborhood.
